外 10周年記念連続イベント第２弾
7月はアメリカからSeminar Shadowの2人がきます。コンテンポラリーかつ真摯な実験音楽であり、素晴らしい演奏家です。水曜日の夜ですがちょい飲みにもぜひ。（Kazumichi Komatsu）

Seminar Shadowは、ティラパット・パルンモンコルとリュック・ヴィトクからなるニューヨークを拠点とするデュオである。2021年からNYCの音楽シーンで活動しており、実験音楽、ノイズ、ジャズ、ロック、メタル、そしてチェコやイサーン／モルラムの伝統民謡の影響を受けた、刻々と変化する音響的景観を創り出している。彼らのサウンドは場所固有のものであり、米国、トルコ、タイ各地での公演における独特の環境を反映している。2023年、セミナー・シャドウはディア・ライフ・レコードから2台のグランドピアノのためのアルバム『Heatwave』をリリースし、ニューヨークの著名な会場ルーレット・インターミディアムで自作の楽曲『Darkness』を初演した。
ティーラパット・パーンモンコル（ギター、ボーカル、エレクトロニクス）は、タイのサコンナコーン生まれのアーティスト、ミュージシャン、詩人、そしてオーディオエンジニアである。
ルック・ヴィトク／ルーシー・ヴィトコヴァは、チェコ共和国出身の作曲家、即興演奏家、パフォーマー（ドラム、ヒチリキ、シンセサイザー、ハーモニカ、ボーカル、ダンス）である。その作曲活動はソニフィケーションに焦点を当てており、即興演奏においては、音と動きの相互作用を通じて特定の空間の特性を探求している。最近の作品では、環境への関心を深めている。

Seminar Shadow is the New York-born duo of Teerapat Parnmongkol and Luc Vitk. Active on the NYC music scene since 2021, the duo crafts a shifting sonic landscape influenced by experimental music, noise, jazz, rock, metal, and traditional Czech and Isan/Morlam folk music. Their sound is site-specific, reflecting on the distinct environments of their performances across the United States, Turkey, and Thailand. In 2023, Seminar Shadow released Heatwave, an album for two grand pianos, on Dear Life Records, and premiered their composition Darkness at the renowned Roulette Intermedium in New York.
Teerapat Parnmongkol (guitar, voice, electronics) is an artist, musician, poet, and audio engineer born in Sakon Nakorn, Thailand.
Luc Vitk/ Lucie Vítková is a composer, improviser, and performer (drums, hichiriki, synthesizer, harmonica, voice, and dance) from the Czech Republic. Their compositions focus on sonification, while in their improvisation practice, Luc works with the characteristics of discrete spaces through the interaction between sound and movement. In Luc’s recent work, they are interested in the environment.

1992年高知県生まれ。京都市在住。音楽家、美術家、DJ。これまでに、angoisse (バルセロナ)、BUS editions (ロンドン)、flau (東京)、Manila Institute (ニューヨーク)、psalmus diuersae (サンフランシスコ)、REST NOW! (ミラノ)等のレーベルやパブリッシャーより複数の名義で膨大な数の音源をリリースしている。また、音や光を身体や環境に作用する波として捉え、それらを知覚したときに生じる揺れや遅れなどの時間を経験可能なものとして調律するための制作やパフォーマンスを行う。
