Memory has mass. It moves along its own orbit.
Memory that has slipped from its orbit drifts as fragments and reverberations,
rather than in a complete form.
Each day, we encounter things too vast or too small to fully perceive.
The sensation of standing upon an ambiguous boundary.
All the while, unaware that we already inhabit this confusion.
Traces remain still, yet move through time.
〈lost in transit〉 is an attempt to enter that space of suspension.
The sound connects the fragments left behind in erased places,
existing only as a kind of desperate silence.
Forgotten memory is not disappearance.
Between invisible orbits, it is still waiting for us.
記憶には質量がある。記憶はそれぞれの軌道に沿って動く。
軌道から逸れた記憶は完全な形でなく断片と残響として漂う。
私たちは日々、全体を捉えるにはあまりにも大きすぎるか小さすぎるものに出会う。
曖昧な境界の上に立っているような感覚。
そのすべての瞬間、私たちがすでにこの混乱の中に生きていることに気づかないまま。
痕跡はとどまっているようでいて、時間の中を移動し続ける。
〈lost in transit〉は、その静止された空間へと入り込む試みである。
音は、消去された場所に残された断片をつなぎ合わせ、
ある種の切迫した沈黙としてのみ存在する。
忘れられた記憶は、消失ではない。
見えない軌道のあいだで、それは今も私たちを待ち続けている。
